Who We Are

Women in Theater
CTWN is a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2025 that supports, develops, and advocates for women in professional theater statewide.

Promotes equity for and support of work by women in theater

Provides networking resources, mentorship and education and professional development opportunities for women in theater

Presents, produces and sponsors events and festivals focused on women in theater

Monthly lunches and other gatherings where you can meet Theater Women from all over Connecticut. We plan our gatherings in locations around the state to ensure one will be nearby you.

Monthly e-newsletter sent the second Wednesday of each month with news about our members and information about other event and opportunities related to women working in theater.

CTWN Membership provides exclusive benefits such as:

Free and discounted tickets to shows around Connecticut.

Publicity and focused efforts to fill seats for shows/events in which our members are involved.

Eligibility to submit to the Biennial Women Playwrights Festival.
